Creator Overcome with Emotion: Tsuyoshi Konomi’s Heart-Wrenching Reaction to Epic ‘Tenipuri’ Showdown
New Prince of Tennis U-17 WORLD CUP SEMIFINAL: Episode 6 Review
Episode 6 of the anime “New Prince of Tennis U-17 WORLD CUP SEMIFINAL” was broadcast on TV Tokyo, and the original author, Tsuyoshi Konomi, shared his thoughts on the episode.
In episode 6, “Tennis with Zero Sense,” Yukimura tells Kirihara through Sanada, “You can win even if you don’t become Amai Muu,” on the eve of the match against Tezuka, who has activated the “Ama Mumu no Kiwami” = “Light of Pride (Stolzstrahl).” Yukimura activated “Zero Tennis” and “Mirage Mirror” against Tezuka, counterattacking him with two techniques created with the cooperation of junior high school students representing Japan.
However, with the expectations of champion Volk on his shoulders and his determination to become a professional, Tezuka unleashes a new technique that combines “Tezuka Zone” and “Tezuka Phantom,” and a story unfolds in which he corners Yukimura once again.
Tsuyoshi Konomi expressed his gratitude to the staff and cast, saying, “Oh, I’m so glad that we worked so hard on the original German game even during the coronavirus pandemic. Thank you again to the anime production team and cast.”
