The State Reference Complex for Mental Health Prof. Jamil Issy (Cresm) hosted its 3rd Scientific conference on Wednesday, October 29th, focusing on “mental Health in Focus: Challenges, Innovations and Care today.” The event, coordinated by the Department of Education and Research in collaboration with the Medical Management of the Goiás Goverment unit, brought together a diverse group of health professionals, managers, students, and researchers.

Topics explored included neuroscience,chemical dependency,psychotherapy,the role of physical activity in mental wellbeing,the potential of artificial intelligence in mental healthcare,and the impact of screen time on mental health.The opening ceremony included the National Anthem and a performance by the Goiás Military Fire Brigade Music Band.
