Cristiano Ronaldo Fuels Rivalry: Sassy Dance-Off with Georgina Takes Aim at Messi
Cristiano Ronaldo Mocks Lionel Messi in New Video
Cristiano Ronaldo, the Saudi Al-Nasr star, has poked fun at his long-time rival Lionel Messi in a new video released on his official YouTube channel. The video features Ronaldo and his partner Georgina Rodriguez asking each other embarrassing questions, with Ronaldo jokingly using a phrase made famous by Messi.
Ronaldo’s joke is a reference to a phrase Messi used during the 2022 World Cup, when he told a Dutch player, ”What are you looking at, idiot?” during a tense match between Argentina and the Netherlands. Messi’s comment was widely reported and has since become a memorable moment from the tournament.
Ronaldo and Messi are widely regarded as two of the greatest soccer players of all time, with numerous championships and accolades between them. Messi has enjoyed incredible success with Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain, while Ronaldo has won titles with Manchester United, Real Madrid, and Juventus.
Ronaldo’s YouTube channel has been a huge success since its launch last July, with the Portuguese star amassing 56 million subscribers and becoming the fastest person in the site’s history to reach 20 million subscribers.
Ronaldo is currently in his third season with Al-Nasr, having joined the Saudi club on a free contract in 2023. Last season, he broke the record for most goals in a season in the Saudi League, scoring 35 goals and finishing top of the scorers list.
