the first⁣ stage of the 2023 CRO Race covered 158.5 kilometers around⁣ Sinj, Croatia, culminating in a fast⁣ and technical sprint finish. The race featured rolling terrain, providing opportunities for breakaways, but ultimately ‌the stage was destined for a bunch sprint.

Polti VisitMalta controlled the ‌pace heading into the final kilometer, positioning their lead-out train effectively. With 250 meters remaining,the key sprinters – Paul Magnier, Danny van Poppel, and Ben Turner – were‌ poised to launch their sprints.Magnier timed⁣ his effort ⁣perfectly, surging to the front and holding off a fast-closing van ‍Poppel by a mere half-bike length.
