Following his victory in the 2024 U.S. presidential election against Kamala Harris, Trump is set to take office again for the 2025-2029 term.

The cruise package offers passengers the chance to live aboard the Villa Vie Odyssey for four years. This offer is especially for those who expressed intentions to leave the country if Trump won. The details of this package were released in early November 2024, prior to the election results.

Mikael Petterson, the CEO of Villa Vie, explained that the company created this program long before the election outcome was known. He stated, “Although we launched this campaign before the election results, we believe we have the perfect product for those who feel unsettled about the political outcome.”

Pricing Details

The cruise program provides various packages based on the duration of stay, ranging from one to four years. The one-year package is called “Escape from Reality,” the two-year package is titled “Mid-Term Selection,” the three-year plan is “Anywhere but Home,” and the four-year option is dubbed “Skip Forward.”

Prices start at $40,000 (approximately Rp 634 million) per year. For those who prefer a single occupancy cabin for the full four years, the cost is around $256,000 (approximately Rp 4 billion).

Petterson stressed that Villa Vie has no specific political agenda. Their goal is to offer a solution for individuals feeling threatened by the current political climate.
