Crunchyroll’s study, surveying ‍nearly 29,000 individuals aged 13-54 across ⁢seven ‌global markets, revealed ⁢anime’s increasing cultural significance and emotional resonance with younger demographics.The study indicated that 54% of Gen Z express thier affinity for anime, ‌placing it alongside major figures like⁢ Beyoncé and LeBron James.

Berger‌ added that social media platforms are key to anime discovery, with 82% ‌of fans engaging in social discussions about anime. Short ⁤clips and⁤ reels serve as primary⁤ entry points ‍for Gen Z.
