“Csillag-Képek 2025” National Astrophotography Exhibition to Showcase Hungary’s Best

The Hungarian Museum of Natural History will host the ”Csillag-Képek 2025″ (Star-Images 2025) National Astrophotography Exhibition, displaying the 100 most stunning Hungarian astrophotographs from the past year. the exhibition opens on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at 5:00 p.m.
Exhibition Highlights
This year’s exhibition features a diverse range of celestial subjects, categorized into three main themes: our Sun, the solar system, and the deep sky-including stars, nebulae, and galaxies. A notably innovative photograph of the M33 galaxy, one of the closest galaxies to our own, will be a central attraction. Spectacular nebulae will also be showcased, demonstrating cutting-edge image processing techniques.

The exhibition will also feature works submitted to international competitions, demonstrating the high caliber of Hungarian astrophotography on the world stage. This year, five photographs by seven Hungarian photographers were recognized among the best internationally, with one Hungarian entry winning an award. The selected works will also be published in the book *csillag-Képek 2025*.
