CSKA Sofia is currently the focus of significant transfer activity, with several key players attracting interest from major European clubs and the organization navigating a period of roster restructuring and financial adjustments.

The most prominent development involves 22-year-old Belarusian goalkeeper Fyodor Lapoukhov. According to reports on April 6, 2026, Spartak Moscow and the English side Southampton are actively scouting the player. Russian sports media have continuously reported on the interest from Spartak Moscow.

The interest in Lapoukhov extends beyond Russia and England. Reports from April 3, 2026, indicate that Zenit and Eintracht Frankfurt have also been observing the goalkeeper and are monitoring his progress closely. Reporting from Eurocom suggests that a representative from Dinamo Minsk has traveled to Sofia specifically to discuss the goalkeeper.

Africafoot reported on April 3, 2026, that Ludogorets Razgrad is interested in Eto’o and that negotiations between the parties have already opened.

Teodor Ivanov, a 22-year-old Bulgarian center-back, is also linked with a move. Reports from April 2, 2026, state that Ivanov is on Bologna’s shortlist for the summer, although he is currently listed in a lower position. The same reports indicate that Ivanov may also play for a Greek team.

In midfield, 27-year-old Norwegian Olaus Skarsem has been the subject of recent activity. On March 31, 2026, reports indicated that Skarsem refused an offer from his home country of Norway as the Norwegian transfer window was closing.

CSKA Sofia is simultaneously monitoring potential additions to the squad. On March 27, 2026, Sportal.bg reported that Afimico Pululu from Jagiellonia had been offered to the club, noting there were no indications of him renewing his current contract.
