ClimateTech venture capital firm Cycle Capital appointed Rémi Fournier as Managing Partner and capital investor, adding the serial entrepreneur to its leadership team alongside Andrée-Lise Méthot and Claude Vachet, pulse2.com reported. The appointment serves as part of the firm’s long-term succession planning as it prepares for its next stage of growth.
Leadership Experience Across Technology Sectors
Fournier brings extensive industry experience spanning telecommunications, digital advertising, cloud computing, and software. He previously co-founded Fibrenoire and helped build the company into what Cycle Capital described as the largest fiber network in Eastern Canada prior to its successful exit. Throughout his ventures, Fournier served as Chief Revenue Officer, managing sales strategy, organizational design, product commercialization, and acquisition-driven growth.
In his investment career, Fournier has completed more than 40 investment transactions and currently serves on the boards of several high-growth technology companies. Most recently, he worked as a Partner at BDC Capital, investing through the Sustainability Venture Fund and the Climate Tech Fund, which collectively represent over half a billion dollars in capital. In 2013, he founded Pinacle Road Capital to invest family capital directly into early-stage companies and participate as a limited partner in venture capital and private equity funds. Fournier holds a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, pursued graduate studies in industrial engineering, and holds an Executive MBA.

Fournier’s relationship with Cycle Capital is not new. He has been involved with the broader Cycle ecosystem since 2022, serving as an Entrepreneur in Residence at Cycle Momentum.
