vladimír Král Open to Long-Term Stay with Union Berlin, But Values Experiencing Different Leagues
Union Berlin midfielder Vladimír Král stated in early January 2024 that he is enjoying his time with the club but remains open to playing for multiple teams throughout his career. Král, 27, has already played for seven professional clubs.
“I like to get to know new cultures, people, and I want to know how things work in other teams and competitions,” Král said in a January 2024 interview with the Livesport Daily podcast. “I don’t want to settle in one club for ten years yet, but I don’t rule out staying at Union for five or six years.”
Král’s professional career began with teplice, followed by stints at Slavia Prague, Spartak Moscow, west Ham United, Schalke 04, and Espanyol Barcelona before joining Union Berlin in July 2023. He is currently in his second season with the German club as of January 13, 2026.
