The Los Angeles Rams have signed veteran offensive tackle D.J.Humphries, his agency announced Thursday. The move provides the Rams with experienced depth on their offensive line as they prepare for the upcoming season. Humphries, 31, brings a wealth of experience to Los Angeles, having played eight seasons with the Arizona Cardinals.
Humphries, a first-round draft pick in 2015, earned a Pro Bowl selection in 2021 during his time with the Cardinals.He started his career in Arizona, where he was a mainstay on their offensive line before an injury cut his season short in 2023.
In April, Humphries had an agreement with the San Francisco 49ers, but the deal never materialized. San Francisco opted to pursue other options, including Andre Dillard, formerly of the Philadelphia Eagles.
humphries joined the Kansas City Chiefs late in the 2024 season, initially starting at left tackle against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 14. However, a hamstring injury sidelined him, and he didn’t return to the starting lineup until Week 18 against the Denver Broncos.
