The uncamouflaged Dacia Striker crossover has been spotted on the streets of Bucharest, appearing without disguise ahead of its scheduled market launch in autumn 2026. Published on September 30, 2026, by the automotive enthusiast Facebook page Cars & Vehicles, the sighting signals that the Mioveni-produced model is nearing regular road visibility following its official July 8 debut.
Vehicle Dimensions and Crossover Design
Positioned in a growing family vehicle segment, the Dacia Striker combines elements of a break, a hatchback, and an SUV. The crossover measures 4,62 meters in length, features a ground clearance of up to 20 centimeters, and has an aerodynamic drag coefficient Cx of 0,29.
Inside the cabin, the vehicle provides up to 600 liters of boot space. The interior layout incorporates a 10,1-inch touchscreen, the LightVisio digital instrument cluster, the YouClip attachment system, and multiple storage compartments. Depending on the chosen trim level, equipment options include a panoramic sunroof, heated and power-adjustable seats, adaptive cruise control, and various Advanced Driver Assistance Systems.
Electrified Powertrains and Trim Levels
Dacia offers the Striker with three electrified powertrain configurations. The lineup consists of the mild hybrid-G 140 running on petrol and LPG, the hybrid 155, and the hybrid 150 4×4 system.
Buyers can select from four trim levels: Essential, Expression, Extreme, and Journey. The manufacturer set the starting price below 25,000 euros.
Market Positioning and Competitors
With a starting price under 25,000 euros, the Dacia Striker enters a competitive C-segment crossover market against higher-priced alternatives. Its established rivals include the Hyundai Tucson, Nissan Qashqai, Peugeot 3008, Mazda CX-5, and Volkswagen Tiguan.
Environmental considerations also shaped the vehicle’s manufacturing process. Over 32% of the materials used in the Striker originate from the circular economy, incorporating 47 kilograms of recycled plastic. Dacia removed leather and decorative chrome entirely from the vehicle design.
