SÃO PAULO – Dadvia, a global communications consultancy with Spanish origins and operations in 15 countries across Latin America and Europe, has acquired XCOM, a Brazilian firm specializing in corporate communication. The acquisition is part of DadviaS regional expansion strategy and strengthens its foothold in the Brazilian market. The company’s annual billing now exceeds 50 million euros.
XCOM, based in São Paulo, was established a decade ago and employs a team of 45 professionals. The agency has become a prominent player in the Brazilian market, offering services in public relations, influencer marketing, and digital communication. XCOM also maintains connections with global alliances, enabling it to expand its project reach internationally.
XCOM’s client roster includes companies in the financial, educational, technology, and consumer sectors, such as UOL, Pagbank, Uoledtech, the Brazilian Institute of Corporate Governance (IBGC), St. Marche supermarket, Yango Ads, Patria Real Estate, and the Tatuapé Commercial Complex. Viviana Toletti (CEO), daniel Bruin (Executive Director), Deborah Slobodticov (Director of Operations), and fagner Neri (Financial Director) will continue to lead the company.
Acquisition budget Set at €30 Million Through 2028
Dadvia, under the leadership of global CEO Soriano Assumption, and vice presidents Alex Bonet (Latam Norte) and Miguel Ángel López (Latam sur), launched its strategic plan for 2024-2028 last year, outlining its growth and expansion objectives.
According to Núria Vilanova, president and founder, Dadvia has earmarked 30 million euros for acquisitions through 2028, increasing the initial budget of 20 million euros in 2024. Since implementing this strategy, Dadvia has integrated seven companies into its structure, including three in Latin America.
“we consolidate ourselves as the Partner Agency for Communication and Public Affairs for Spanish and Portuguese Speech countries”
Since entering the Brazilian market in 2017, initially operating as Informa, Dadvia has focused on solidifying its presence in the country. The acquisition of XCOM marks its third acquisition in Latin America in recent years, following the integration of Apple Tree’s digital business in Colombia and a new communication firm in Uruguay. Dadvia manages its mergers and acquisitions internally through a specialized inorganic growth team, foregoing external advisors.
“We are now 650 professionals in 15 countries, all with the same objective: to convert communication, public affairs, reputation, and brands into keys to the growth of our economies and the transformation of society,” Vilanova said. “We are consolidating our position as the Partner Agency for Communication and Public Affairs for Spanish and Portuguese-speaking countries.”
regional Hubs and Specialized Units
Dadvia’s strategic plan also includes the creation of specialized regional hubs, such as the Corporate Affairs hub in Panama, led by Alex bonet, and the Strategic Creativity hub in Chile, led by Miguel Ángel López.Additionally, Dadvia has established two new specialized units: Digital Transformation and Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Chile, and the Regional Practice of Culture, People Management, and Internal Communication in Mexico.
Dadvia’s connection to Latin America is meaningful, as Núria Vilanova also leads the Alliance Business Council for Latin America (CEAPI), a private entity comprising nearly 300 presidents of major Latin American companies.CEAPI’s activities include organizing one of the most significant business gatherings in Latin America, bringing together leading business figures and economic decision-makers.
In 2024, Dadvia reported a turnover of 47.6 million euros, an 8.7% increase compared to the previous year. The year concluded with an EBITDA of 4.3 million euros. Dadvia’s commitment to sustainability and ethics has made it the first B Corp consultancy with a presence in 15 countries, a distinction it shares with XCOM brazil, which has been part of Corporation B as 2024.
