Danhausen Scores Unique Win in WWE SmackDown Debut

Danhausen secured a victory in his WWE in-ring debut during the April 10, 2026, episode of SmackDown. In a match held in San Jose, Danhausen defeated Kit Wilson to earn his first win with the company.

The match took place with approximately thirty minutes remaining in the broadcast. The San Jose crowd reacted loudly to the entrance of the Very Nice, Very Evil star, who was positioned as the favorite by the audience over Kit Wilson.

The contest began with Danhausen puffing out his chest, which prompted Wilson to push his face. Danhausen responded by delivering a dropkick and moving to the outside of the ring. While outside, Danhausen posed with his arm around The Miz, who was accompanying Wilson, without Miz realizing the gesture.

Wilson regained control of the match by landing a flying elbow on Danhausen. Upon returning to the ring, Wilson shouted that the curse isn’t real! Danhausen countered this claim by delivering a jawbreaker to Wilson.

Wilson eventually gained the advantage for a significant portion of the match, including a moment where he climbed to the top rope in an attempt to finish the contest. While Wilson was positioned on the rope, Danhausen remained on the mat and appeared to curse his opponent.

Immediately following the gesture, a sudden pyro blast erupted near the ringpost and the top rope. The blast startled Wilson, causing him to lose his balance and fall from the rope. Danhausen capitalized on the mistake by delivering a big boot, allowing him to pin Wilson for the three count.

Post-Match Events

Following the conclusion of the match, The Miz attempted to attack Danhausen from behind. During this confrontation, the arena lights suddenly dropped, causing confusion at ringside.

When the visibility returned, Danhausen had already disappeared from the ring and was seen running up the ramp, leaving The Miz behind in the ring.

Background and WWE Debut

This in-ring victory follows Danhausen’s initial appearance in WWE at Elimination Chamber. During that event, he emerged from a coffin contained within a wooden box that had been transported back and forth between the Raw and SmackDown brands.

Since that debut, Danhausen has been involved in storylines where he has cursed individuals on both WWE brands. He was also paired with The Miz, who was assigned to be his veteran mentor at the request of Nick Aldis.
