New Film Acquisitions

Beta Fiction⁢ Spain aims to ⁤become a leading independent distributor in Spain. The company is ‍entering its third year ⁢of operations and anticipates releasing 10-12 films theatrically each year, with approximately half being self-produced or co-produced and the other half acquired.

the company is leveraging its existing relationships with top Spanish filmmakers, including Marcel barrena, Dani de la Orden, Arantxa echevarrÃa, and Fernando Gonzalez Molina. EchevarrÃa is attached ⁢to direct “Dolores,” a biopic about dolores Ibarruri, La Pasionaria, following her success with “Undercover,” which grossed €9.7 million ($11.3 million) in Spain.
