Danica Patrick, reflecting on past relationships including her breakup with Aaron Rodgers, shared insights on love and dating. The former NASCAR driver emphasized the importance of self-acceptance and trusting one’s intuition.
Speaking on the Sage Steele Show podcast, Patrick, 43, said, “You never know how much you could be loved unless you give someone the opportunity to dislike you for something you’re scared about being disliked for.” She added that experiencing someone’s unwavering love, despite flaws, deepens relationships and boosts confidence.
Patrick also recounted cautioning her friend, sage Steele, about moving too quickly in a new relationship, advising her to “throw it in the deep end” to test the connection.

The split from Aaron Rodgers in 2020 was particularly difficult for Patrick. “It was sudden [and] it felt like it was my life,” she said, describing how intertwined their lives had become.
