Hager Group Chairman Honored for Franco-german Collaboration
Daniel Hager,chairman of the supervisory board of hager Group,has been awarded the Order of Merit of Saarland,Germany,in recognition of his entrepreneurial achievements and dedication to strengthening ties between France and Germany. The award was presented by SaarlandS Minister President Anke Rehlinger on December 12, 2024.
A Family Legacy Rooted in Two Regions
Hager Group employs approximately 13,000 people globally, with a significant presence in alsace, France, where its French headquarters are located in Obernai. Nearly 3,000 employees work within the Alsace region.
Daniel Hager, representing the third generation of the Hager family, served as Director of Operations for the Group from 2008 to 2023. He emphasized the company’s deep connection to both saarland and Alsace, stating, “Our roots are deeply anchored in Saarland and Alsace. It is from these territories that we are building, together, the electric world of tommorow, at the service of our regions, our customers and our employees.”
