Danny Briggs Returns to Sussex in Player-Coach Role
Sussex has signed veteran spin bowler Danny Briggs from Warwickshire on a three-year deal, effective at the end of the 2025 season. Briggs, 34, returns to Sussex in a player-coach role after a five-year absence. He previously played for the team from 2016 to 2020 and will be available for the T20 Blast.
Briggs is the T20 Blast’s leading wicket taker with 246 wickets. Last season, he took 29 wickets, helping the Bears reach the quarter-final.
