Tokyo Home Invasion: Multiple Suspects Sought in Nerima Ward Robbery
A brazen home invasion in Tokyo’s Nerima Ward has left a family injured and police searching for multiple suspects. The incident occurred in the early hours of the 28th, with several men breaking into a house and stealing money and goods.
According to eyewitnesses, the men broke the first-floor windows of the house in Oizumi, Nerima Ward, using a crowbar-like object. They then threatened the family, demanding money and valuables. The suspects allegedly inflicted bruises and other injuries on a 50-year-old father and 20-year-old son before fleeing the scene.
Two suspects have been arrested so far, including Shuki Endo (22), who was apprehended by police officers a few hundred meters from the scene. The Metropolitan Police Department is investigating two people suspected of robbery causing injury and breaking and entering.
The police are still searching for three other men involved in the incident, who are described as follows:
- One man, approximately 20 years old, wearing a black hoodie and dark long pants.
- Another man, approximately 20 years old, wearing a white jacket and dark pants.
- A third man, of unknown age, wearing a white jacket and dark trousers.
The Metropolitan Police Department is urging anyone with information about the whereabouts of the suspects to come forward.
