Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins, the award-winning producer, has sold his royalty income streams rights.The deal, facilitated with Chapter Two, marks Jerkins’ second major catalog move after selling his publishing catalog in 2020.
HarbourView now controls Jerkins’ royalties from hits such as “The Boy Is Mine,” “Say My Name,” adn “Stay With Me.” The acquisition adds to HarbourView’s growing portfolio of music rights.
Jerkins expressed enthusiasm about the agreement,emphasizing the importance of respect and clarity for music creators when selling their work. He said HarbourView understood the value of music and its creators.
“HarbourView truly understands the value of music and the people who create it,” Jerkins said. “Music creators deserve respect and clarity when it comes to selling their life’s work, and working with both HarbourView and Chapter Two has made that process feel seamless.”

harbourview has also acquired music rights from other artists, including T-Pain and wiz Khalifa. In addition to this deal, jerkins is scheduled for induction into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in June.
