Tadej⁢ Pogacar showcased⁢ his dominance in the Criterium ⁤du Dauphine, securing the overall ⁤leader’s yellow jersey with a commanding⁤ win in Stage 6. The reigning Tour de France and road world champion⁢ launched ⁤a signature attack in the French Alps, outpacing ​his closest competitor, Jonas Vingegaard of Denmark, by 1 ‌minute, 1 second.

The Slovenian⁤ cyclist, representing UAE Team Emirates-XRG, now holds a 43-second advantage over Vingegaard in the ‌general classification. Pogacar, 26, initiated⁣ his⁤ decisive move with 7 kilometers remaining in the 126.7 km stage to Combloux,a route characterized​ by several challenging climbs.
