Steve Lerner,writer of the 2022 ‍game Stray,conceived the idea. The Cat Assassin video game, influenced by titles like Assassin’s Creed and Splinter Cell, is being developed by Titan1Studios. the franchise will also include a “neo-noir adult animated series.” The new video game role will be a departure for Bautista.

Cat Assassin centers on Hugh, a skilled killer caught in⁣ a web of⁢ cartels and power ⁤brokers. Bautista is ⁤part of the project’s “creative ‍vision,” but it remains unclear ⁢if he will⁣ voice Hugh in⁢ either the animated series or the video‍ game.
