David Beckham Expected to Receive Knighthood in King’s Honours
Former England football captain David Beckham, 50, is reportedly in line to be knighted in King Charles’ Birthday Honours list.Beckham, previously appointed an officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in 2003, may receive further recognition for his football career and contributions to British society.
The list of recipients is expected to be published next week. Beckham played 115 times for England and also played for Manchester United, LA Galaxy, Paris St-Germain and AC Milan before retiring in 2013.
