Keyshawn Davis Defends ⁤WBO lightweight Title⁢ Against Edwin de Los Santos

Keyshawn Davis (13-0, 9 KOs), the WBO lightweight champion and ESPN’s No.3 ranked lightweight, will defend his title⁢ against Edwin De Los Santos (16-2, 14 KOs) this saturday at Scope Arena in Norfolk, Virginia. This ⁢Top Rank Boxing ⁢on ESPN main event marks Davis’ frist ⁤title defense after securing⁤ the belt in February with a fourth-round knockout of Denys Berinchyk, handing Berinchyk his first professional ⁤loss. Davis, a⁣ rising ⁢star in the lightweight division, ‍returns to ‍his hometown for this highly anticipated fight.

De ⁤Los Santos last fought in November 2023, losing a unanimous decision to Shakur Stevenson for the vacant WBC lightweight championship. He looks to rebound⁢ against Davis in this title fight.

The co-feature showcases lightweights Abdullah Mason (18-0, 16 KOs)‍ and Jeremia Nakathila (26-4, 21 KOs) in a 10-round bout. Mason aims ⁤to continue his knockout streak after two victories earlier this year. ⁤Nakathila, after two ⁣losses in ‍2023, had a strong 2024 with‍ three wins, including two knockouts.
