Speaking from their home in Guatemala, Montoya’s wife, Ana María Vásquez, and daughter, Ana Victoria Montoya, shared their grief and called for justice. “We want people to remember my dad likewise we will remember him: as a loving, respectful, brave man,” Ana Victoria stated. “He died as of these injustices, this persecution.”
