Electric Picnic 2024: A Weekend of Resilience and Revelry

Despite a mixed bag of weather – alternating downpours and dry spells – Electric Picnic 2024 delivered a vibrant weekend of music and entertainment. Festival-goers demonstrated remarkable spirit as they enjoyed performances from a diverse lineup of artists, headlined by electronic music icon Fatboy Slim, critically acclaimed singer-songwriter Sam Fender, disco legends Nile rodgers and Chic, Irish rap group Kneecap, and indie rock band Inhaler.

Beyond the Headliners: A Thriving Festival Atmosphere

The energy wasn’t confined to the main stages.Throughout the festival grounds, a lively atmosphere prevailed, fueled by performances from a broad range of acts. Irish band The Coronas captivated audiences,while comedic duo The 2 Johnnies brought their signature humor to the stage. Electronic music producer Joost delivered energetic sets, and comedy fans were treated to performances by Irish comedians Dara Ó Briain and Jarlath Regan. DJ Horsegiirl also contributed to the festival’s eclectic soundscape.
