The stage adaptation of the Bollywood blockbuster Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, known to fans as DDLJ, has arrived. Titled Come Fall in Love,the musical updates the story of diaspora identity with a multiracial cast and new music.
The original 1995 film, a three-hour epic, followed raj and Simran, young adults living in London, as they navigated romance and changing family values. It became one of Bollywood’s highest-grossing movies, still playing in Mumbai’s Maratha Mandir cinema.
