Deadline launched the streaming site for Contenders Film: Los Angeles. This event showcases films during the awards season. It took place on November 16 at the DGA Theater in Hollywood.
This year’s lineup included stars and filmmakers from 21 films. Panelists included Kevin Costner, Julianne Moore, Lupita Nyong’o, and others. They represented movies such as Blitz from Apple Original Films, The Fire Inside, My Old Ass, Unstoppable, and Challengers from Amazon MGM Studios. Additional films included Hard Truths from Bleecker Street, Saturday Night from Columbia Pictures, and Dune: Part Two from Warner Bros Pictures & Legendary Pictures.
