Lebanon Explosion: Bulgaria Launches Investigation into Local Company with Malayali Connection
Bulgaria has initiated an investigation into a local company, Norta Global Ltd, owned by a Malayali, in connection with the recent explosion in Lebanon. The preliminary investigation suggests that Israel’s intelligence agency, Mossad, may have loaded the callers with explosives.
Norta Global Ltd, founded in April 2022, is headquartered in Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria. The company is owned by Rinson Jose, a native of Mananthavadi, Wayanad, who holds Norwegian citizenship. According to his LinkedIn profile, Rinson works in the digital sector and is interested in automation, marketing, AI, and more.
A Hungarian news agency, Telex, reported that BAC Consulting, a shell company based in Hungary, acted as an intermediary in transferring the callers to Hezbollah. The agency stated that BAC Consulting was involved in the transaction but does not have an office.
Bulgaria’s state security agency, DANS, is working with the Interior Ministry to investigate the role of the Bulgarian-registered company in the Lebanon blasts. However, the agency has been unable to trace the callers’ export to Bulgaria.
The New York Times reported that the explosions in Lebanon resulted in dozens of deaths and thousands of injuries. The report suggests that Israel may be involved in these explosions.
According to the report, BAC Consulting took the first step in producing thousands of callers for the Taiwanese company, Gold Apollo. These callers were made for Hezbollah earlier this year. At least two shell companies were created to hide the real information of the people who made the calls.
