Teenager Stabbed ⁤to Death by Friends Over Refusal to Pay for Phone

New Delhi: A tragic incident⁢ occurred in Shakarpur,‍ East Delhi, where a‌ 16-year-old boy, Sachin, was stabbed to death by his friends. The victim, a class 9 student,⁢ was killed after⁢ he​ refused to ⁤pay for a new phone.

According ‍to Deputy Commissioner Apoorva Gupta, the police were informed about the incident when they noticed ⁣a blood stain while patrolling in Shakarpur. The incident took place on Monday around 7:15 pm. Eyewitnesses ⁢reported that⁤ the injured ‍Sachin was taken to the hospital.

The incident unfolded when Sachin ⁢returned home with his⁤ friends ⁣after⁢ purchasing ​a new phone. The‌ friends asked Sachin to pay for the‌ phone, but he denied their request, which angered them.

The police have arrested the accused after‍ investigating the incident and reviewing CCTV footage. A case has been registered against the accused under relevant sections of the law. The police have ​also recovered the knife used in the murder.
