Deadly Skies: Israeli Airstrike Claims 4 Lives, Iran Urges Ceasefire in Gaza and Lebanon

Israel carried out airstrikes against Iran yesterday (26th) in retaliation for the missile attack earlier this month, which attracted global attention. However, Iran’s latest statement said it was currently prioritizing reaching a ceasefire in Gaza and Lebanon and downplayed the attack, showing that tensions had eased significantly.

Iran released pictures showing that the buildings under attack were severely damaged, while Israel released pictures of fighter jets sent during an airstrike early yesterday morning. Yesterday, Israel launched three waves of airstrikes against Iran, causing several casualties in retaliation for an Iranian missile attack earlier this month.

US President Biden: “It looks like they (Israel) are not attacking anything other than military targets, and I hope that ends there.”

After the attack, Iran pointed out that the Israeli airstrike only caused damage to the radar system. Although Iran emphasizes that there are no limits to its determination to defend itself, it prioritizes reaching a truce with Lebanon in the Gaza corridor. It shows that tensions between the two sides have eased, but Israel’s military operations against Hezbollah in Lebanon and Hamas in Gaza have not been disrupted, and the war in the Middle East is still ongoing.
