Deadly Skies: Russia Unleashes 8,060 Iranian-Made Shahed Drones on Ukraine, Ramping Up Devastation
Ukraine Claims Russia Attacked with Over 8,000 Iranian Shahed Drones
Ukraine has accused Russia of launching over 8,000 Iranian Shahed drones since the start of the war in February 2022.
The Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs made the claim on social media, sharing an image that highlighted the scale of the attacks.
The Ministry stated, “All terrorism will end,” adding, “But this terrorism will not end unless Russia and its criminal partners receive a strong response.”
Ukraine has long claimed that Iran supplied Shahed drones to Russia in 2022, and evidence has emerged that Russia is using Iranian-made drones to attack Ukraine.
The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) reported in May that Russia was producing Shahed drones using Iranian technology at a factory in the Republic of Tatarstan.
