Josephine McKerring (née Gilbourne) of Belville, Kilmeedy, Co. Limerick, passed away peacefully at her home on April 3, 2026.
She was surrounded by her family at the time of her death. She is survived by her son Denis and his wife Aisling, as well as her grandchildren Freya, Aaron, Tadgh and Isobel.
Funeral arrangements have been scheduled for Monday, April 6, 2026. Her remains will arrive at St. Ita’s Church, Kilmeedy, for a Requiem Mass at 9 am.
Burial will follow the mass at Aglish Cemetery in Feoghanagh, Co. Limerick.
The family has requested that the house remain private and that flowers be limited to family members only.
Donations, if desired, may be made in lieu of flowers to Parkinson’s Mid West or the Milford Palliative Community Care Team.
Funeral services are being managed by Sextons Funeral Directors.
