Deion Sanders Praises Shohei Ohtani as One of the Greatest of All Time

Legendary athlete Deion Sanders has praised Shohei Ohtani as one of the greatest players of all time, alongside Michael Jordan, Tom Brady, and Lionel Messi.

Sanders, a living legend who has played in both the Major League (ML) and the National Football League (NFL), expressed his admiration for Ohtani’s incredible skills. “Ohtani, he’s amazing,” Sanders said at a college football press conference. “He can be likened to Michael Jordan or Tom Brady. He’s doing things we never imagined.”

Sanders, who has played for the NFL Dallas Cowboys and the MLB New York Yankees and San Francisco Giants, is the only person to have won both the NFL and MLB championships. He is currently the head coach of the University of Colorado football team and is known as the ‘prime coach’.

Regarding Ohtani’s achievement of ’50 home runs and 50 stolen bases’, the first in Major League Baseball, Sanders said, “Before Ohtani came along, the baseball world had not seen this for a century. Who would have thought that someone could achieve 50 home runs and 50 stolen bases in one season?” He added, “Ohtani achieved the best performance in Major League History.”

Sanders also predicted that Ohtani’s historic game will take place this October, as his team, the Dodgers, has advanced to the postseason. “Ohtani never got a chance to play in the playoffs when he was with the Angels, but that’s going to change this October,” Sanders said. “Ohtani will solidify his status as the GOAT of baseball in a postseason that we’ve probably never seen before.”
