Neb Sarai, Delhi – In a shocking turn of events, the son of a Delhi couple found murdered in their Neb Sarai home on Wednesday has confessed to the gruesome crime. Arjun, 23, initially reported finding the bodies of his parents, Rajesh Kumar (51) and Komal (46), and his sister Kavita (23), after returning from his morning walk. However, police investigations revealed inconsistencies in his statements, leading to a confession.
Joint Commissioner of Police (Southern Range) S.K. Jain stated, “There were no signs of forced entry or theft, and the bodies were found on the bed. CCTV footage analysis and Arjun’s contradictory statements led us to question him further. He eventually confessed to killing his father, mother, and sister.”
Arjun, a black belt in martial arts, allegedly used an army knife belonging to his father, a retired serviceman, to carry out the murders.Police believe the motive stemmed from years of resentment towards his father’s frequent scolding and sibling rivalry with his sister, also a black belt.
“arjun felt humiliated by his father’s constant reprimands,” Jain explained. “He planned the murders for December 4th, his parents’ wedding anniversary.”
The news has sent shockwaves through the community. Arjun’s maternal uncle,who spoke to PTI,expressed disbelief,stating,”Rajesh was my brother-in-law. He was a retired army officer working as a security guard. Kavita was a college student. We had no disputes with anyone.”
