Shares of The Technology, which were delisted from the KOSDAQ market in August 2026, will resume trading on the K-OTC market starting September 30, 2026. The Korea Financial Investment Association (KOFIA) designated the firm for its “delisted enterprise” board to provide liquidity for shareholders, with trading support scheduled for a maximum of six months.

K-OTC Designation and Trading Terms

The Korea Financial Investment Association (KOFIA) officially designated The Technology to its K-OTC delisted enterprise board on September 28, 2026. This administrative move follows a review of companies delisted from the KOSPI and KOSDAQ exchanges, confirming that The Technology met the minimum requirements set by the association for investor protection. Trading is set to commence on September 30, 2026. Investors can execute trades through the home trading systems (HTS) or mobile trading systems (MTS) of securities firms that provide K-OTC brokerage services. According to reports from Yonhap News and Herald Business, the trading support period is limited to a maximum of six months.

Pricing Mechanism and Market Limits

The reference price for the first day of trading is calculated as the lower value between the closing price on the final day of trading before delisting and the arithmetic mean of the closing prices over the last three trading days. Based on data from Yonhap News, the initial trading reference price for The Technology has been set at 103 won. To manage volatility, the exchange has implemented a price fluctuation limit of ±30% relative to the reference price. While the K-OTC designation is generally set to expire on the first business day following the six-month anniversary of the initial trading date, the association retains the authority to lift the designation earlier if necessary for investor protection.

Business Profile and Regulatory Context

The Technology primarily operates in the manufacturing and distribution of pharmaceutical raw materials. The company has expanded its business scope in recent years to include distribution and network equipment. The firm was removed from the KOSDAQ in August 2026 due to a failure to meet revenue requirements, according to Herald Business. The K-OTC delisted enterprise board serves as a mechanism to mitigate the difficulties shareholders face when companies are exited from the main exchanges. By providing a secondary market for up to six months, regulators aim to offer existing shareholders an opportunity to liquidate their holdings. With this latest addition, the total number of companies eligible for trading on the K-OTC market has reached 124.
