Since last month, delivery riders in China have been required to take photos of problematic restaurants and report them.
It is said to be perfectly effective.

Shenyang City, Liaoning Province.

The restaurant in question was also found to have problems with food hygiene and was ordered to make corrections.
The biggest advantage of reporting delivery riders is the efficiency of food hygiene supervision.

In October alone, we discovered more than 40 violations with over 100 reported photos.
As improvement in hygiene issues at delivery restaurants has shown results, it is spreading throughout China.
However, for the safety of delivery riders who report photos, personal information is said to be kept strictly confidential.
