Delta V’s “Nazi of the Illinois” Single Preview
Delta V unveils “Nazi of Illinois” Video, Announces Tour
MILAN (AP) — Italian electronic band Delta V has released a new single, “Nazi of Illinois,” accompanied by a music video that offers a commentary on societal disillusionment and the resurgence of extremism. The band also announced a tour to celebrate their 30th anniversary.
New Single and Music Video
The “Nazi of Illinois” video, directed by Lorenzo D’Orazio and produced by Ripley Group, presents a surreal, kaleidoscopic view of urban life. Through mirrored imagery and duplication, the video aims to provoke introspection on contemporary culture. Luca Bravi served as the graphic project editor.
Delta V offered a statement regarding the song’s message: ”We would like to be able to recognize the Nazis of Illinois only looking at the Blues Brothers on a screen, but Landis’ film reminds us that behind that staging between farce and grotesque, in reality of the legitimate heirs they are already in circulation. And they are not to be underestimated. Music has a fundamental political and social role in the life of all of us. Determination, as regrettably on the opposite it can make it faded, without beauty or, worse still, a model of appearance, dazzling in the shapes, but dramatically without content.”
