DePaul Cross Country Competes in NCAA Midwest Regional Championships
DePaul’s cross country teams will compete in the NCAA Midwest Regional Championships on Friday, Nov. 15, at Bradley University’s Newman Golf Course in Peoria, Illinois. The women’s 6k race starts at 10 a.m. CT, followed by the men’s 10k at 11 a.m. CT. Fans can watch the event on ESPN+.
In their last outing at the BIG EAST Championships on Nov. 1, the men’s team placed seventh in the 8k, and the women’s team finished sixth in the 6k. DePaul’s standout performers were Damian Rodriguez with a time of 25:01.10 and Tessa Roe at 21:57.80. Both secured spots in the top 31 of their races.
DePaul previously raced in Peoria at the Bradley Pink Invitational on Oct. 18. In that competition, ten out of fourteen finishers set personal records, with highlights from Meghan Dieball and Rodriguez.
This season, DePaul’s cross country squads have shown strong performances, achieving top-five finishes in their first three meets. After the NCAA Midwest Regional Championships, the season will conclude with the NCAA Cross Country Championships in Madison, Wisconsin, on Saturday, Nov. 23.
