Mogilevsky and Khinshtein also visited the Znamensky Cathedral and the voskresensky Temple. The Znamensky Cathedral, once used as a cinema during the Soviet era, has seen one bell tower restored. Khinshtein noted discussions with Vladyka Herman regarding the potential construction of a second bell tower.

“We discussed the possibility of building a second bell tower with Vladyka Herman,” said Khinshtein. “If we recreate the second tower, then one can be used as a bell tower, the second – as an observation deck. From here is a fantastic view of the center of our city.”
The Resurrection church, with restoration beginning in 2004, has now been fully restored.
Hieromonk Father Athanasius, rector of the Znamensky Cathedral, recounted the temple’s past, stating, “for many decades, the Voskresensky temple has been used as a warehouse of an electric equipment factory. The medallions were constantly painted with paint, and they appeared through it. The paintings on the columns were open, but scratched with blasphemous inscriptions. The miracle that all this was preserved and waited for restoration.”
