Academy Overview
The Design Thinking Academy aims to cultivate design innovators who can transform complex challenges into creative solutions. Participants will integrate interdisciplinary skills and cutting-edge technologies. The program provides students with professional techniques and strategies through interactive activities led by experts and international instructors from Bradley University in peoria, Illinois.
Course content includes computer science, business, empathic communication strategies, and methods for solving technical and entrepreneurial problems.
Program Details
The 2024-2025 edition of the Design Thinking academy includes:
- Three masterclasses, each lasting four hours (12 hours total)
- Three hours of feedback on in-class activities
- 25 hours of individual study
- 10 hours for preparing a final project: creating short digital content using a mobile device.
Eligibility and Enrollment
The program is open to students enrolled in a three-year bachelor’s, master’s, or single-cycle degree program. Enrollment is capped at 40 students.
There is no remote attendance option.
Interested students can enroll from April 22, 2025, to May 5, 2025, through an online portal.
Applications are accepted on a first-come,first-served basis,subject to availability.

In collaboration with bradley University, this masterclass introduces human-centered design principles and their applications. Students will learn how design thinking can enhance problem-solving within communities and organizations. The location is Room 105, Alario via P. Castelli.
