Desperate Measures: Woman’s Twisted Plot to Frame Husband for Infidelity Unravels
Visoko Municipal Court Upholds Indictment Against Woman for Sending Threatening Text Messages to Herself
The Municipal Court in Visoko has upheld the indictment against a woman, identified as HE, who is accused of sending threatening text messages to herself. According to the indictment, HE claimed that she thought her husband was cheating on her.
HE has no prior convictions, and the indictment was brought against her by the Zenica-Doboj Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office. The charges state that HE filed a criminal complaint on February 8 in Visoko, reporting that she had received threatening messages from an unknown number.
The threatening message, which was sent via Viber, read: “Hey, you’re such an ugly woman… tell the guy to leave me alone, I’ll kill him, I know where he is, I’ll kill him and you, I know everything about you…” The message also included several other sentences, including threats against the recipient and her husband.
However, the prosecution alleges that HE was aware that she did not receive the threatening text messages, but rather wrote them herself and sent them to her own phone number. According to the indictment, HE purchased a phone number specifically for this purpose, in order to file a false report and frame her husband for cheating.
The indictment states that HE’s actions were motivated by her suspicion that her husband was cheating on her. The court has upheld the indictment, and HE will face trial for her alleged crimes.
