Typhoon “Kang Rui” has hit Taiwan, causing havoc such as bridges collapsing in the Simakas tribe of Hsinchu County, blocking roads leading to foreigners and leaving more than 150 people stranded. In this regard, Executive Director Zhuo Rongtai attended the Yimin Temple Autumn Ceremony in Hsinchu County today (3rd) and said that if the Hsinchu County Government needs help, County Magistrate Yang Wenke should be asked to give instructions at any time; The government must be fully prepared and cooperate best with local governments!

Zhuo Rongtai said that he came to participate in this event to express his gratitude to Lord Yimin and to pray for good weather in Taiwan. He mentioned that the strong typhoon “Kangrui” had hit the weather during the last 2 or 3 days, causing havoc in various places. In response, President Lai Qingde visited Ilan and was concerned about the disaster situation, while Vice President Xiao Meiqin visited the Huadong area to inspect agricultural damage and traffic conditions.

Then, Zhuo Rongtai said that since the typhoon “Kang Rui” hit from the east, Green Island and Orchid Island were the first to be hit, so he went to the two places yesterday to inspect schools and transportation damaged by the typhoon.

In the face of the disaster reported by the Simakas tribe, Zhu thanked Yang Wenke for leading the Rongtai County team and Jianshi Township Mayor Zheng Guoda for leading all colleagues for rescue and dredging efforts even under harsh conditions. Zhuo Rongtai stressed that if the county government needs highway units for the emergency repair process, or even national army brothers during the remediation process, “Please ask the county magistrate to give instructions at any time. We will be fully prepared and provide the best cooperation. Local with the government.”
