Facing the Challenge: Political Censorship and Declining Donations

We’re at a pivotal moment. ⁤the current⁤ political landscape, marked by what we ‍describe as a ⁢”fascist agenda,” necessitates a ⁢strong counter-narrative from independent media. Our ⁣mission is to disrupt corporate⁤ propaganda‍ and ‍offer a truthful, unvarnished perspective. However, we’re ⁢facing significant headwinds.

Donations⁤ to Truthout have been declining, and we believe a primary ⁤reason for this is the blatant⁤ political censorship we’re experiencing from Big tech platforms. These platforms, which control the flow of information for millions, are increasingly making it difficult for independent news organizations like ours to reach our audience and sustain our operations. ⁣This repression directly impacts our ability to continue our vital work.
