Tia Clayton, 20, surged to victory in the 100m, clocking a world-leading 10.92 seconds. The track and field event saw her defeat Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, the two-time Olympic 100m champion, who finished fourth. Fraser-Pryce, 38, making her first Diamond League circuit appearance in three years, recorded a season’s best of 11.05 seconds.
Clayton’s twin sister, Tina, followed closely, securing second place with a time of 11.02 seconds. Amy Hunt also secured a third-place finish in the 100m, clocking 11.03 seconds, shaving .09 seconds off her personal best.
In other events, Jemma Reekie of Scotland took third in the 1500m, finishing in 4 minutes, 7.33 seconds. Nelly Chepchirchir won the race in 4:05.00, with her Kenyan teammate Susan Ejore coming in second.
