Diddy Lawsuit: Lawyers Claim Consensual Encounters
Diddy Trial: Ex-Girlfriend Testifies About “Freak Offs” as Consensual Encounters
Updated June 11, 2025
Prosecutors in the Sean “Diddy” Combs case have presented evidence of drug-influenced, extended sexual encounters, dubbed “freak offs,” as central to an alleged criminal conspiracy. Though, during cross-examination, Diddy’s defense team sought to reframe these encounters as consensual. The focus remained on the testimony of Diddy’s ex-girlfriend, identified as “Jane,” as the trial continued.
Defense attorney Teny Geragos questioned Jane about the nature of these encounters. Jane admitted to initiating some of the “freak offs.” Photos were presented showing a room decorated by Jane with rose petals and balloons. She confirmed suggesting a “hotel night” involving two other men, stating Diddy was receptive to the idea.
in August 2022, Jane texted Diddy expressing her enjoyment of their sexual encounters, which included a sex worker named Paul. She assured Diddy that she would “never take this for granted and will always make sure you are taken care of.”
Jane became emotional while recounting a text message where she called Diddy a “blessing.” She had writen to Diddy, ”I have never had a man take care of me like you do,” a day after one of their “hotel nights,” adding, “You’re the reason for my child’s joy, it means the world to us, I love you baby.”
Jane also testified about encouraging Diddy to abstain from drugs and adopt a healthier diet for 30 days. Diddy proposed a “sobriety party,” which she described as a “hotel night” without drugs. This party, held in October 2023, involved Jane having sex with three men over 12 to 18 hours. “I resent him for how much I loved him and couldn’t say no to him,” she said. ”I resent him for all of it.” The trial continues to explore the nature of these relationships and their impact on the case against Diddy, focusing on the issue of consent and the influence of drugs.
“I resent him for how much I loved him and couldn’t say no to him. I resent him for all of it.”
Meanwhile, prosecutors are seeking the removal of Juror #6, one of the Black members of the panel, based on what they described as a “lack of candor.” Prosecutor Maurene Comey stated, “We were very reluctant to put in this letter. It appeared to be a lack of candor with the court that raises serious issues with us. We did not wont to do this.We were compelled to do that.”
What’s next
Jane is expected to continue her testimony under cross-examination. The trial will continue to examine the details surrounding the alleged criminal conspiracy and the nature of the relationships involved.
