Evidence presented in court has shed light on Sean “Diddy” Combs’ travel arrangements and communications with Cassie Ventura, notably around the time of their highly publicized altercation. Testimony focused on financial records and text messages, painting a picture of Diddy’s movements and interactions.
A key witness, Penland, detailed travel records indicating that Diddy, cassie Ventura, and Jules Theodore, described as an alleged male escort, stayed at the London Hotel. diddy’s American Express card reportedly covered the expenses, including Virgin America plane tickets for Theodore.
Additional travel records revealed an American Airlines flight from New York City to Los Angeles and a stay at the Four Seasons hotel for Clayton Howard, also known as “Dave.” Bad Boy Entertainment was listed on the travel invoice, suggesting a connection to Diddy’s business operations.
Penland also testified about a reservation at the InterContinental hotel in Times Square, New York, under the name “Frank Black.” A substantial $46,786 charge on an American Express card covered damage to the penthouse. Witnesses previously stated that Diddy frequently used “Frank Black” as an alias for hotel bookings.
Further travel charges included a hotel stay in Riverhead, in the hamptons on Long Island, adding to the extensive list of locations linked to Diddy’s activities.
The testimony then shifted to a series of text messages and calls between Diddy and Cassie on March 5 and 6, 2016. These dates coincide with the infamous video showing Diddy assaulting Cassie in a Los Angeles InterContinental Hotel hallway. One text from Diddy stated, “The cops are here.” Cassie responded with a text saying, “You are sick to think it is indeed OK to do what you have done. Please stay away from me. I have a premiere.”
According to Penland, Diddy texted Cassie “Call me. Help,” followed by “Help me, I am about to be arrested,” and “If you don’t pick up you’ll never hear my voice again.” The records indicate that cassie did not answer the call.
