The medical transport follows a series of reports regarding Combs’s living conditions and disciplinary status while in custody. NBC News reported that Combs has been enjoying a pampered lifestyle behind bars, which included Chinese-style massages from men, alcohol, and scrolling through nude pictures from an old girlfriend. Four men who spent time in Combs’s unit told NBC News that the rapper spent thousands of dollars a month to have men cook and clean for him. KTVU reported that Combs was also involved in a fight with another inmate in July and was subsequently placed in the special housing unit.
