As Sean “Diddy” Combs‘ trial nears its end, his son Christian “King” Combs has released a new EP, “Never Stop,” featuring seven tracks, including “diddy Free.” The release coincided with closing arguments in Diddy’s trial.
“Diddy Free,” a collaboration between King Combs and Ye (formerly Kanye West), includes lyrics such as, “nas ain’t going too sleep till we see Diddy free.” The song criticizes those who ”try to play the victim” and declares, “f the world, critics and the witness.” north West, Ye’s daughter, is credited on the EP’s opening track, “lonely Roads.”

Diddy’s lead attorney, Marc Agnifilo, denounced the case as a “fake trial” during closing arguments Friday. Ye, who has faced backlash for antisemitic remarks, has publicly supported Sean Combs, who is facing sex trafficking and racketeering conspiracy charges.
Earlier this month, Ye appeared at the Manhattan courthouse in support of Combs. Ye is listed as the executive producer of “Never Stop,” which features cover art that appears to depict the headquarters of Bad Boy Worldwide.
Sean Combs has pleaded not guilty to all charges and could face a life sentance if convicted. He chose not to testify. Prosecutors urged the jury to find Combs guilty, describing him as “the leader of a criminal enterprise.”
“All of this evidence paints a clear picture of how the defendant committed crimes,” assistant US attorney Christy Slavik said. “Up until today, he was able to get away with it because of his money, his power (and) his influence. That stops now. It’s time for justice. It’s time to find the defendant guilty.”
