Queens Nightclub⁢ Shooting‌ Leaves 10 Injured, Police Rule Out⁣ Terrorism

NEW YORK – A shooting outside a Queens nightclub early⁢ Wednesday morning left at least 10 people injured, but ⁤police say the incident was not an act of terrorism.

The shooting⁢ occurred around 4 a.m. near the Amazura nightclub in the Jamaica neighborhood.

“We can confirm that this was not a terrorist attack,”‍ said NYPD spokesperson Detective Sophia Mason. “Our⁣ investigators are working diligently to determine the motive behind this incident and ⁤apprehend those responsible.”

The victims, whose identities have not been⁤ released, were transported to local hospitals with injuries ranging from minor to serious.

The shooting comes just hours after a separate, unrelated incident in New Orleans, where a man was arrested for allegedly attacking people​ with a machete.
